That "right to free expression" thing the welfare art community is always going on about?
Not really a thing.
John Gormley is still on the board of the Remai Modern Art Gallery of Saskatchewan, for now at least, after posting a controversial message on Twitter.
Gormley hosts a radio program for News Talk and is also an author and commentator.
He posted the message on Twitter the night of the terrorist attacks in Paris in November. He later removed the tweet and twice apologized on air.
But he is still getting heat for the comments. Twenty-two artists signed an open letter to Saskatoon council.
