It's going to get messy and it's going to take some big balls but people are giving ISIS exactly what they want by being afraid. Boots in the bedroom and a well-placed bitch slap will accomplish much more than dropping bombs into their midst. No ideal - no matter how idiotic it is - is going to be knocked down with conventional force

This is a hearts and minds thing, lone wolf. The only way to effect change is to give people a valid reason to do so. To show them there is another way. Trouble is we are speaking about thousands if not millions of people who are firmly - historically - entrenched in their beliefs. Though they are not all militant in their support of these beliefs the continuing conflict will do nothing but recruit more of those who feel disenfranchised to the militant side.

And you are dead right that we will not bomb or shoot our way out of this though I understand that there might be some small sense of satisfaction in bombing the **** out of them - it will be short-lived.

Update on stadium...........apparently there was a suspicious package found near the stadium.
