Why don't these murderers obey the law?

Geeez We can't let the good guys have guns. We have to wait till a couple dozen people are dead and injured before the cops show up.
That's good security for you.

The Liberals will be happy because they start in on how guns are dangerous...

Gun, a knife, a bomb.. If somebody wants to commit mass murder, they will use whatever they possibly can.

I'm pretty indifferent to it at this point. Happens all the time and no one seems to want to do anything about it one way or another. A lot of talk gets done but no action then next week another happens. There is only so long that can go on before this sort of thing starts feeling 'normal'.

How many millions of firearms on the streets of the U.S. - have fun collecting them.

Same in Canada, tones of illegal guns on the street. You can threaten jail time, but most don't give a ****. Having a firearm is not something you brag about anyhow, don't want somebody to rob you, or die while trying.

Well, holy smokes. It's the same college.

Pretty soon they'll be running out of students.

I dont really care if they do that or not. Not my problem.

With that line of reasoning why bother having any laws on anything?

Hey, Mods, better merge the threads. Wouldn't want to confuse anyone.

From CBS Seattle.

Joe Olson, former president of the college, told The Associated Press the school has only one security officer on duty at a time, and that person isn’t armed.

In disturbing images posted online, Harper-Mercer, who was born in England and moved to the States at a young age, posed with guns and shared pro-IRA newspaper front pages, an Express.co.uk investigation has found.

He also posted a three-minute video on the social networking site MySpace featuring IRA fighters branding guns and wearing balaclavas.

On his dating profile on the website Spiritual Passions, he wrote that he "doesn't like organised religion".

He also appeared to write a blog post hosted on a torrent site about Vester Flanagan, who shot two journalists live on air in late August.

He reportedly wrote: "I have noticed that so many people like him are all alone and unknown, yet when they spill a little blood, the whole world knows who they are.

"A man who was known by no one, is now known by everyone. His face splashed across every screen, his name across the lips of every person on the planet, all in the course of one day.

"Seems the more people you kill, the more your're [sic] in the limelight."

1 lone unarmed "security" officer. Freakin brilliant

Maybe AnneG should be one of the say 100 security guards that are at this collage or at a collage near her home. With that many security guards on duty there would for sure not be any gun fights. With a base pay of say $60,000 per year for each guard the cost would only be $6,000,000 a year, plus benefits, of say 15-20%, and the students could easily cover that with a increase in tuition. Or the tax payers would approve a tax increase to cover same. Maybe an alternate would be that every person in USA be allowed to carry a semi automatic machine gun with them at all times.

Students are always whining about how they actually have to pay for their tuition and it is not given to them.
