Certainly that is what I thought the old fart was saying, attractive is good, powerful fem waves can twist heads, everyone likes a good suit.
No, I get it. We often subconsciously conflate beauty with niceness, whether we want to admit it or not. We assume if someone is pretty, they must be a nice person. If they are unattractive, we often subconsciously assume they're not that nice. It's not even something we learn from our parents, it's innate. They did a study using various kindergarten classes where half the time the teacher they had was a pretty little thing and the other teacher they had was still her but made up to look rather unattractive. The kids all thought the "pretty" teacher was also the nicer teacher.
People like a face they feel they can trust, even as adults.
