U.S. Invading Canada? Obama Administration Denies It's Planning War (VIDEO)

The Obama administration has confirmed the United States is not planning to invade Canada with help from Mexico. You read that right.

State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland was taking questions Tuesday when a reporter asked about why a signing ceremony between U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Mexican Foreign Minister Patricia Espinosa wasn't open to the media, according to NBC (external - login to view).

Nuland responded she thought it had something to do with the Merida Initiative on organized crime, to which the journalist quipped: "This isn't some secret thing to invade Canada or something like that?"

As the reporters in the room laughed, Nuland responded in the negative. "No. It’s not anything classified" (You can see the exchange starting at 0:37 in the video above).

Twitter users were quick to make light of the exchange, with many hinting the denial is an obvious sign of an imminent attack.

Also, by invading Canada, America and its new Mexican allies would be invading both a NATO member state and a Commonwealth member state. That wouldn't be a good idea.

The USA and Communist China have already invaded Canada economically........

And Britain has invaded the USA (or, to be more precise, the land that later became the USA).
