Justin Bourque has pleaded guilty to three counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder in the Moncton shootings that sent the New Brunswick city into lockdown and mourning in early June of this year


Mr. Bourque’s lawyer, David Lutz, confirmed his 24-year-old client pleaded guilty Friday afternoon to all charges against him in the June 4 shooting deaths of Constables Dave Ross, Douglas Larche and Fabrice Gevaudan, as well as the wounding of Constables Darlene Goguen and Eric Dubois. Mr. Bourque, who is currently being held at the Southeast Regional Correctional Centre outside Moncton, appeared briefly before Chief Justice David Smith at the Court of Queen’s Bench of New Brunswick.
