We in Canada hear abut people going bankrupt from Hospital care, and other issues.
One major issue I came across was how Hospital charge at times outlandish fees.
Costs for the same surgery vary by the 10's of thousands. Charging what the Insurance provider will pay.
Now some Canadians look down that long pointed nose some have and wonder why basic Health Care is not provided? I admit I wonder why a rich country cannot have an affordable health care coverage for all.
That would include surgery from hip, to knee to heart.
As we have a number of US Members, they are closer to the situation than we in Canada.
