While this is very good news indeed, I hope that all fisherman including commercial, sports and First Nations have all learned something from the Cod situation of 20 years ago on the east coast. They were fished to the brink of extinction.

They may well have learned JLM, but it is the government who controls when and where and how much they can fish. Just as it was the government who killed the Cod industry.

Isn't that the truth, member of gov't. are as unreliable if not more so than anyone else. They just go along with what the people who "pull the strings" want to hear.
