One of the two students removed from Oberlin College earlier this year for allegedly circulating virulently racist, anti-Jewish and anti-gay messages around campus is an ardent leftist and committed supporter of President Obama, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.


Dylan Bleier, one of the two students, hosted a voter registration drive in a Walmart parking lot sponsored by Organizing for Action, the community organizing project that advances the agenda of President Obama.


The Oberlin Police Department identified Bleier and his partner in the spree, Matt Alden, as two of the principal architects of a month-long spate of racist, anti-Jewish and anti-gay messages at the small, private campus.

The response of both the legacy media and Oberlin College in the six months following the exposure of the hoax shows is just more proof that drumming up "racism" is one of the most important things the lib/left needs to do to achieve it's goals.

As Professor (William A.) Jacobson demonstrates, Oberlin and its president, Marvin Krislov, knew who the culprits were before the end of February, yet still presented to the country the appearance and puzzled indignation of a campus under siege by unknown racists. The school even contacted the FBI after identifying Bleier and Alden. Why? What possible justification can they offer for this deception? Was the school trying to protect the students, or its reputation, while MSNBC talking heads were using the hoax to tar their partisan adversaries?​

As for the legacy media,

While the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, the news networks and all the usual major news media outlets covered the original incident when they thought it was a fresh and significant outbreak of racism in an unlikely place, none of these has covered that discovery that it was a hoax, at least not yet.​

In other words, six months ago, when the "incidents" could be presented as an indictment of those filthy right-wing racists/Tea Party-types, it was news, but when it was revealed that the perps were "progressives" and that the whole thing was perpetrated as a hoax to smear non-progressives, the incident -- and their own breathless, outraged coverage of it -- disappeared down the memory hole.
It's too bad that millions of Americans have absolutely no idea that the information they receive from the legacy media is agenda-driven propaganda, not news.

The spate of hate that beset a liberal-arts college was, as usual, a hoax.

Busted. Stone-cold busted. Just as I suspected, “progressive” pranksters at Oberlin College have been definitively unmasked as the perpetrators of phony campus “hate crimes” that scored international headlines in March. The blabbermouth academic administrators who helped fuel the hysteria are now running for cover.


The Associated Press, the New York Times, MSNBC, Yahoo News, and the Huffington Post were among the media outlets that trumpeted the story of supposed racism, homophobia, and anti-Semitism run amok at my alma mater. Throughout the winter, anti-black and anti-gay graffiti, swastikas, and a shadowy figure in a “KKK hood” surfaced on the tiny campus outside Cleveland, Ohio. Black Entertainment Television News decried the hate outbreaks and a “KKK sighting.”
