Just another everyday occurrence of false arrest and excessive use of force by police that will go unpunished so as to encourage them to do it again.

What should happen - the 2 arresting officers and the one who shot the dog to all be fired and charged criminally for their actions.

What will happen - absolutely nothing.

That is why we are rapidly becoming an Orwellian, Big Brother police state.

Cuffs, charges, beating or not, I'd have made the attemt to strangle that sneering little prick cop. Bracelets make great reinforcement

His name will be on the police report which is easily obtained by the 'defendant'. From there all you need is patience to find him alone somewhere dark....

Imagine of that had been the IRS - the right wing media would be all over this. But when the cops abuse the law very little attention is given to it.

BTW, had I written "typical Republican" you can bet Eagle would be playing the broken record card.

That's what they cite as pre meditated. All I'd want is the satisfaction of counting coup on that buttwad's tenderlies. After that ... I really wouldn't have cared (EXCEPT for the dog)....

The police are beginning to feel threatened by the citizens so they go out of their
way to make sure the behaviour is not on the record. People have had enough
of the police behaving badly and in the realm of social media it will only get worse

Not pre-meditated, just a lucky coincidence.;-)

The better solution would be for them to start adhering to the laws they are sworn to uphold instead of breaking them, then they have nothing to worry about.

It is good they feel threatened, it might start to bring them in line and make them act responsibly.
