At 83, Shakuntala was in her "prime". A mathematical genius, she could multiply two thirteen-digit numbers in her head.

The Times of India reported her age as 73. That is a ten-year discrepancy. Something does not add up. Either the BBC or the Times of India is numerically challenged. Pity...
