I've got a nice story that I saw just yesterday as I was returning home from shopping for groceries:

A mother with a 1 year old (or so) baby, her younger sister, and her mom got on the bus. The family is Mexican-American.

A man (also Mexican-American ~ one can readily tell from their accents) who had gone shopping got on the bus on the next stop. In his large shopping bag was a cute teddy bear of a New Foundland dog.

The little boy pointed to it and smiled. The man took it out of his bag and handed it to the little boy.

Everybody smiled at the man's generosity.

I'm still smiling!
