If they had been tortured properly (as per the manual) the war would not have happened. A simple misstep of intelligence services. Mr Blair is vindicated I am deeply sorry that I ever doubted his word and deeds. I am baking him a cake as partial restitution for any damages my attitude may have caused him and his slithering nestlings.

I am deeply troubled by my previous lack of trust in Her Majestys government. I'm afraid I'll have to retire to the shed and load the last round of bud into the pipe. Maybe then I'll be able to face myself.

How dare anyone to suggest that the Knights of Democracy profited in any way other than extra helpings of gratitude from the liberated Iraqis.

Yup. A war of true humanitarian aid to an oppressed people. Bush and Blair should be sainted.

I have read articles which are opposing in view. Lots of damage control was put in place after Chretien said no.

Oh yes, so we're Germany and France.

The Canadian Govt went into immediate damage control with the US. Check it out. Reason why we were not considered like France by the US public.

It was a principled decision. The US accepted that. And, you'll agree it was the right one.

After the fall of Baghdad I did. And crediting Chretien with principles is not something I would agree with.

The US could have done Saddam in an easier way.

People fighting for their freedom from corporate domination? Sooner or later the peons are going to wake up to the fact that they are nothing more than slaves and cannon fodder for the ruling elite and corporate control freaks. Awareness is already rising. When the level reaches boiling point, heads will roll all over the world.

I think "intelligence" is a misnomer. The should have called it FR to begin with (Fantasy and Rumor).
BTW, Chretien said no to Iraq, but then turned to his other face and sent military supply ships and stuff anyway.

Ah, US politicians and bureaucrats and whatnot aren't happy unless they are sending other people somewhere to beat up on foreigners.
