If they are plotting to violence and killing innocent people, then they aren't moderate Muslims. That would make them extremists relative to the majority of 1.4 billion Muslims who aren't plotting to kill anyone....

It's not like it matters any... Religious people are all the same... Regardless if they're cutting people's heads off, blowing themselves up, dragging minorities down a dirt road with their truck, hanging people from trees, going on mass shooting sprees, blowing up abortion clinics, shooting doctors who perform abortions, beating interracial couples, painting swastikas on their rival religious buildings, burning people at the stake, molesting little children, opporessing women, spreading their religious ignorance through schools to our children, protesting at people's funerals and insulting the dead as they're buried by their loved ones, Etc.

It doesn't matter if they're coming to kill you outright or knocking on your door in a button up shirt & tie with a black book in their hands, you're already dead in their eyes and they're all the same.

Reading the OP, they used explosives. They used knives as shrapmel instead of nails. Usually if you are making a bomb which tries to create most injuries, you use nails or glass or something that leaves the explosion site at high velocity creating mayham and injury in it's path. These guys used knives.

At any rate, not the action's of a moderate anything.
