BERLIN - If you've ever forgotten where you parked your car (and who hasn't?) you are sure to appreciate this story. A man in Bavaria, in southern Germany, has been reunited with his car, two years after he forgot where he left it. Hope he didn't leave the lights on.

Officials said that in December 2010, after a night of drinking (surprise), the vehicle's owner told Munich police his car was missing. An initial search was unsuccessful.

Then last month, authorities discovered the car by chance after a traffic warden noticed that its inspection stickers had expired. The vehicle was found a few miles from the spot where the owner, now 33, originally thought he had parked.

"The weird thing is that it turned up so far away, although the owner was pretty sure of where he had left it," said police spokesman Alexander Lorenz.

In the trunk was about $50,000 worth of tools, including power drills and electric screwdrivers.

Some of those screwdrivers must have been alcoholic.

Judging by the pic included, I can see why someone could lose their ride.

I misplace my car in parkinglots about every second time I park in one.
If I don't spot it in the firstg couple of minutes, I hit the "panic" button on
my key fob thing. That usually works.
