TS Leslie related flooding in NS

As Tropical Storm Leslie has swung by and heads towards Newfoundland, the storm dropped a lot of precipitation in Atlantic Canada, and is continuing to bring large downpours of rain.


School were closed today and some people evacuated. Some pictures from the flood circulating today:









And this photo has been making the rounds as well, but it's from the 2003 flood. Notice there's no foliage on the trees:

Yeah it,s still raining. Lots of flooding washouts and cancellations.

That's one way of keeping cops from plugging up Tim Horton's parking lots.

Anyway, I sure hope people aren't killed/injured and damage is minimized.
