Western Canada - Resource Development
We have a number of threads on Western Canada Development of Resources- We are and have been a resource country for generations upon generations - Look to food supply -Potash - Oil- Gas - coal and such.
The West is where the country will grow - As stable sources of oil- gas -coal- other minerals are taken over by governments- Fewer countries are on the list as open for stable investment - And Canada tops the list for safe investment-
Look to Russia- Venezuela- Mid East - Africa- massive corruption - Nationalization of resource based companies - and not based upon rule of law - in many cases Politics and corruption are the driving force.
As the world requires more resources Canada will top the list as a stable country for long term investment.
So get used to it- Manage it properly for prosperity and protecting the environment- But it should not take 5 years for a yes or a no on a project.
