An RCMP bust targeting street level drugs in Portage la Prairie has led to the arrest of 23 people and police hunting for two more.

The arrests took place Wednesday, after months of investigation dating back to October 2011.
Police ended up seizing more than $20,000 worth of drugs like ecstasy, marijuana and cocaine.
Officers from the Portage la Prairie detachment, the Portage investigation section, the RCMP emergency response team and police dog service were among the units involved in the bust. About 60 charges were laid, said an RCMP D Division press release.

Arrested and facing charges are Bryan Byers, 20, Blair Sinclair, 26, Jeremy Gordon, 28, Bridgette Longclaws, 22, Frank Tecza, 27, Hubert McKinnon, 41, Dustin Lynes, 27, Cody Mousseau, 24, Harold catcheway, 46, Edward Pashe, 51, Jeffrey Boackstael, 31, Kurt Gray, 21, Jonathan Pelletier, 36, Travis Lewadniuk, 21, Jeffrey Ivan Dubetz, 24, Destiny Catcheway, 22, Bryan Waloschuk, 25, Myron Tanner, 20, Kayla Doyle, 19, Cody George, 20, Adrienne Walker, 32, Jason Krawetz, 34, and Albert Ironstand, 28.

Another five people are also facing charges.
Police said they’re still looking for Nicholas McCrae, 25, of Ontario, and James Lathlin, 28, of Winnipeg.
