LMAO...ok

You point was to limit religion to a persons home - You want to limit freedom of choice. How does that improve the CCOR.

People can choose to do many things in their homes that are not permitted in public...maybe religion should be one of them...

actually, his original position was to outlaw all religion, then he back tracked to restricting it to homes. The kid can't seem to decide what his position is.

Agreed, I should have been more clear from the outset...

Oh yes, please add in the affects that having no freedom of choice would impact upon. Where to live, jobs, schools, education, why who you marry. Just to name a few.

Technically, there is no such thing as freedom of choice or free will. We are slaves to our DNA and brain activity. We can only be and do what those tell us to do.

You were VERY clear from the outset. Do you need your statement quoted back to you? There was no ambiguity in it what so ever.

"Freedom of religion" also implies "freedom from religion". It's been hashed out in many courtrooms.

Yup, and in this Country, no one has religion forced on them.

I'm going to guess no, you seem to be more upset about the challenge to your position, than facts.

Funny, weren't you crying, earlier, about someone attacking people over opposing view points?

Oh yes, here it is...

I agree...

No ambiguity at all there.

I find the latter extremely funny.

If someone takes offense to simply seeing someone display their religion, via jewelry, tattoos, or outdoor practice thereof. They have far greater issues.

I do not see anyone on this Forum pushing their religious beliefs upon anyone. We had 2 Jehovah's W at our door yesterday. Politely informed them, no thank you. And that was that. They and my wife were both polite to each other.

A simple no thank you sufficed.

Definitely. Personally, I think if someone doesn't want to see crosses on churches, Bibles in hotel rooms, and other religious symbols around, grow a skin and don't f'n look at them.

Yep. They need to grow a skin and don't look at the stuff.

Nice way of stating very clearly I might add that people should get some tolerance in their lives.

Here you go, your first statement

A reinforcement of the original statement about outlawing all religion.

Another reinforcement of the original statement concerning outlawing of religion.

Notice how each statement above is very clear and concise. Not much room for misinterpretation.

and now the back track

It's ok Vanni, you aren't alone in the world. There are many people just like you, who think forcing people to think just like themselves is good for all.

Sadly though, it goes against the premise of what you want to achieve.

Isn't it curious that the folks who froth at the mouth the most about how religion prevents people from thinking for themselves seem to want a generic, one size fits all solution like banning all religion which has the exact same effect of preventing people from thinking for themselves? Odd yes?

Hey! Banning stuff works really well. Just ask Prohibitionists, England's gov't concerning guns, war on drugs, war on terrorism, etc. etc.

Yeah, maybe we should just ban everything. Great idea! Problem solved. Next!
