My favourite is feats of strength, though the airing of grievances is pretty good too!
The vast majority of Christmas celebrations involve santa claus, reindeer, and snow, and have nothing to do with Christian concepts.
Those who argue against Christmas concerts should make sure they are working on Dec 25 and 26, and that they do not give, nor receive, and gifts at that time.
I like Christmas...there is nothing religious about it, unless you go to Church, or incorporate Christianity into the celebrations with your friends and family. Most people I know, including Christians, do not. Like TenPenny said, Santa Claus, Rudolph, Jingle Bells, Blue Ray discs, chocolates, candy canes, etc. are not part of the Christian religion. That's a different C word, Consumerism!
Yeah....why should atheists begrudge us Christmas,....when they have their own unchalenged day of celebration?
By the way: Canadian Tire is advertising CHRISTMAS TREES, and CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS. Score one for our side.
Actually Christmas was a pagan holiday that got hijacked by christians. We celebrate winter solstice since that is when the days finally start getting longer again.
Actually it began as a pagan celebration which was commenderred by the Christians. Most of the stuff people commonly associate with Christmas (trees, wreaths, greenery) is pagan in origin. And Santa Claus I think was invented by the retail industry -- nothing Christian about him.
Yeah, yeah , yeah. I know. I've already been spanked for not being thorough, LOL.
There was spanking and i wasn't informed, invited or had pics sent to me?
I'm not sure how to take that.
Dies Natalis Solis Invicti
what I wrote and what you quoted are not the same and don't act dumb (If you're acting)
Ah I see. Somehow your name got in there instead of Nugglers. My mistake. ****, you sure overreacted. Do you need a tissue?
Man, this forum has been full of whining lately hasn't it?
