35-55 best actress & actor: Bette Davis & Orson Welles (I know, I know he was a great voice but I thought he was a good actor too!) I also want to nominate Peter Fonda for best actor. The man was intense in all his early roles.
56 - 96 best actress & actor: Hard to pick because the timeline is too wide....so I'll go with my picks for each decade since 56.
56 - 66 best actress & actor: Toss up between Marilyn & Marlon & Shirley McClaine & James Dean
66 - 76 best actress & actor: It's a toss up between Faye Dunaway & Al Pacino & Jane Fonda & Sidney Poitier
76 - 86 best actress & actor: Again a toss-up, Kathleen Turner/Sigourney Weaver & Robert De Niro/Harrison Ford
86 - 96 best actress & actor: Emma Thompson & Daniel Day Lewis/Johnny Depp/Samuel L Jackson ( a toss up on actors)
96 - 06 best actress & actor: Helen Mirren & Forest Whitaker
