In saving planet Earth from the renegade Time Lord known as the Master, the Doctor and Martha go their separate way. Alone again, at least the Doctor has his TARDIS and an ever expanding time/space vortex to wander through. The last of the Time Lords. Still within but for ever moving forward.

However, as the TARDIS collides, it seems, with the doomed RMS Titanic as it is due to be launched the Doctor must defeat a new alien menace.

The picture below shows Dr Who and the Titanic's waitress Astrid (Kylie Minogue) battling evil, angel-like aliens onboard the Titanic on the Christmas Day special "Voyage of the Damned".

Filming of the new series of Doctor Who has started and will be shown in 2008. In one episode, the Doctor and his assistant travel back to Italy in 79AD - the year that Vesuvius erupted destroying Pompeii. He also travels back to Christmas 1926.

Also, the evil Ood will return in 2008.

In "Planet of the Ood", the Doctor and his new companion Donna will travel to a weird and wonderful alien planet, where she will meet the mysterious race for the first time.
The episode will allow viewers to discover the origins of The Ood and why they behave the way they do – but will the Doctor become their friend or foe?

VOYAGE OF THE DAMNED, TO BE SHOWN CHRISTMAS DAY, STARS JOHN TENNANT AND KYLIE MINOGUE, AND SEES THEM BATTLING EVIL "ANGELS" ON THE TITANIC

Bannakaffalatta!?!

Sounds like something you'd order from Starbucks.
