Drastic Fantastic is the second album by British alternative singer KT Tunstall.





It will be released on 10th september in Britain and Europe, 15th September in Australia and 18th September in the United States and Canada.

The album is expected to chart inside the top 5 on its release because it became one of the most downloaded albums in the week prior to its release, peaking at #2 on --

KT Tunstall broke into the public eye with a performance on the BBC's -- (a contemporary music show) of her song "--" from her first album. She has enjoyed commercial and critical success since, selling over 4 million albums and picking up three -- and a -- nomination.

While her first name is Kate, she chose to go by KT as her first name, saying "[Kate] just makes me think of a buxom lass baking bread for her man working in the fields. I have no problem with that, but it's just not really how I pictured being a rock star." Also, Tunstall spells her first name KT (as opposed to --) to differentiate herself from fellow singer --.

Tunstall is known for her live performances, in which she combines use of a -- (an -- E2 Headrush, which she affectionately calls "Wee Bastard,") with a full four-piece backing band. She tours extensively, with plans to return to the road after the release of her next album --.

She's not just a talented singer but can also play several instruments, including guitar, bass, synthesizer and piano and sometimes uses a loop pedal to mimic the sound of a full band.
