I watched this one on DVD the other night by myself, based on Stephen's King recommendation. I expected it to be hard to understand since it was spoken in Spanish and dubbed. Generally, I despise this type of film and never watch them. But I am around Spanish speaking people quite a bit, and although I don't speak Spanish, I found I only took a very split second glance at the text.
Before the movie was over, I was beginning to understand a little spoken Spanish. The actual movie was brutal, it was dark (the lighting), but it was different and interesting. I would watch it again.
