Sheesh, I have a LONG list of fave movies and I'm sure many of you will disagree with me on them but here goes.....

Sliding Doors
Titanic
Meet Joe Black
Four Weddings and a Funeral
Back to the Future (all of them)
The Notebook
A League of their own
Life is Beautiful
When Harry Met Sally
The Butterfly Effect

These are all movies that I've watched multiple times, that I believe are extremely well-made, and that above all, entertain me.

I've liked a lot of movies, including all the ones you listed there, princess, but my all-time favourite, by far, so far above all the others that everything else is dead last by comparison, is Dr. Zhivago.

Ohh yeah, Forest Gump is incredible!

Hello, Brad Pitt is in Meet Joe Black...'nuff said! Lol, nah I love that movie cos its a brilliant and scary concept!

Ohh the Cell is another good one! My whole family hated it but, as pyschotic as it is, it's very very very well made and a seriously interesting concept for a movie!

I'm an admitted movie snob.
I really, really dig Fargo. I also like the Boondock Saints and Donnie Darko (very cliched responses, I know).
I generally abhor romance but really liked Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Das Kapital
Coal Minor's Daughter
Uncle Buck
Blue Hawaii
Grease
Jaws
Just about all Vincent Price movies
and on and on.

I wouldn't say these movies are the best, just a few I've watched over and over and over.

Jesus Christ Superstar was pretty kewl. The new and old version...

VOICE OF JUDAS

Every time I look at you I don't understand
Why you let the things you did get so out of hand.
You'd have managed better if you'd had it planned.
Why'd you choose such a backward time in such a strange land?
If you'd come today you could have reached a whole nation.
Israel in 4 BC had no mass communication.
Don't you get me wrong.
I only want to know.

CHOIR

Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ,
Who are you? What have you sacrificed?
Jesus Christ Superstar,
Do you think you're what they say you are?

VOICE OF JUDAS

Tell me what you think about your friends at the top.
Who'd you think besides yourself's the pick of the crop?
Buddha, was he where it's at? Is he where you are?
Could Mohammed move a mountain, or was that just PR?
Did you mean to die like that? Was that a mistake, or
Did you know your messy death would be a record breaker?
Don't you get me wrong.
I only want to know.

Always been a fan of American Beauty.
While I was growing up I would watch it every few months. Since I had a bit different perspective on the world each time, the movie had a bit of a new meaning.

Star Wars - A New Hope, originally released in 1977. It was amazing back then and I enjoy watching it to this day.

This is the "original" I'm referring to, mind you... not the extended/enhanced version(s).

cortezzz' list has a lot of my faves on it.

I'll add:

Bliss (Australian)-Ad exec has heart attack believes he died and thinks he may have gone to Hell and that his family members are demons. Very clever black comedy/social commentary.

Man Facing Southeast- Great Agrentinian flick that was stolen, dumbed-down, screwed up and vomited out as K-Pax.

Withnail and I- Hilarious Brit-com, reminds me of a short but intense period of my mis-spent youth/young adulthood. Great Soundtrack.

Spinal Tap- "This one goes to 11." :D

Evil Dead 2- My favourite b-movie comedy. Bruce campbell rocks!

The Pianist- Best movie about the Nazi evil I've ever seen.

Memento- The gimmick worked for me. Very cool.

Life of Brian- 'nuff said.
