CD Problems

i bought a John Lennon CD "Rock'N'Roll" while up in Fredericton shopping & was very happy to get it..until I stuck it into my portable JVC Player and nothing happened. So,perusing the cover of the CD,I noticed the words "Copy Controlled" and that it would not play on some systems. So,unless you want to run into similar problems,look at the CD carefully before you buy it! Oh,it plays perfectly well on my big Fisher 5 Speaker system

Hold down the shift key while putting it in your computer, make a copy (not an exact copy, rip and re-burn) and use that for your portable. At least, I think that might work... I would not buy such a CD myself.

All Lennon's material is owned by Yoko Ono..this is probably one of her great ideas to stop piracy :evil: Anyway,that was my first and last visit to a HMV.
