After a four year hiatus, UK ghost hunting show Most Haunted is returning with a brand new series.

The show, presented by former children's TV presenter Yvette Fielding and directed by her husband Karl Beattie (who are both karate black belts), originally ran from 2002 to 2010 and appeared to come to an end when Yvette Fielding announced she was leaving the show on 25th June 2010.

Then Living TV, the channel on which the show was aired during its original run, becoming the channel's most popular show, released the rights to Fielding and Beattie's Antix Productions in 2011.

But now the show is returning with a brand new series on the British TV channel Really, with the first episode being shown on Thursday 21st August at 10pm.

Locations in the new series will include The Royal Court Theatre, Bacup; Drakelow Tunnels; Delapre Abbey; Ye Olde Kings Head, Chester; and Sheffield’s National Emergency Services Museum. Guests will include the members of the England Rugby Team (who will join the Most Haunted team at Delapre Abbey) & Welsh heavy metal band Bullet For My Valentine.

The ghosthunting team still includes familiar faces Yvette Fielding (presenter), Karl Beattie (director, Yvette's husband and the only samurai outside of Japan), Fred Batt (demonologist whose home was the focus of a Most Haunted investigation), and Yvette's cousin Stuart Torevell (camera operator and rigger), as well as new faces - media make up Artist Melanie Crump & Chris Burton.
