Who messed with the strawberry jam?

It is my one moment of individual pleasure
The fruit by which all others are measured
And some, some fiend, messed with Gods true fruit
Leaving me to wonder why someone would mess with the strawberry jam

How could it that someone would want to improve
the tarty tasty nectar of natures candy
Adding inferior fruits like plums and rasberry
Why oh why man, would anyone mess with the strawberry jam

All John Lennon needs is love
All I need is a slice of toast, a drip of butter and strawberry jam
But no! you took that and so much more
Why did you mess with the strawberry jam and my heart

Now I sit alone by barren fridge
Inside the jar says Smuckers
Which coincidently rhymes with sucker
And that is what that jar of strawberry plum rasberry jam is

Tell me baby why did you do it
Why did you trade my heart for another
Why did you mess with my strawberry jam
and leave our love a sham

Make your own, RCS..............sure isn't hard and by doing so you can have just the right amount for your needs and fresh as can be.......no more jam that sat in the jar for who knows how long. Just a thought. :smile:
