Hi, i recieved an email on my cell phone, but instead I got an email from rogers asking me to subscribe before I can actually read the email I got. I was just wondering does the subscription cost money monthly or something? thanks

I have been getting FREE email on my Rogers phone from my Rogers/Yahoo mail and nobody knows why.
The service number is 17057969300 and 411.ca says it's a Rogers number. When I try to unsubscribe to 10 zeros, it says I'm not subscribed. The messages start with
alert@Rogers.com (Rogers wireless des) subject, 10 zeros
I even switched my sim to another phone and it still works. I also get news alerts from CBC but I can't stop them either. (22222)

The is a "subscription" service on top of your usual rate .

Rogers email to text will send alerts to your mobile free, then it's $5/mo to get the email. Then the alerts will stop.
Does anyone know how I got email alerts to my mobile?
(to mymobile#@pcs.rogers.com) moto v635

OK , I figered it out.
i get MSN ALERTS from mobile.msn.com
or i did until Rogers cut me off in July.
it was perfect, a frikin beep on my fone when i had email.
things like msn calendar alerts still work, OOOWELLL!
