PUBLIC NOTICE: CRTC Wants Consumer Comments On Wireless Portability For Canadians

The CRTC has posted a request on it's website asking for the publics comments if they are in favor of wireless and landwire portability in Canada.

http://www.crtc.gc.ca/archive/ENG/Notices/2005/pt2005-14.htm

Phone numbers portability has been available to U.S. consumers for years and we need this to be available to Canadian consumers asap. Please show your support by emailing the CRTC at procedure@crtc.gc.ca before October 6/2005.

Kindest Regards,

RE: NOTICE: CRTC Wants Consumer Comments On Wireless Portabi

The CRTC appears to be indicating 2007 for numbers portability being available.

This is far too long a time frame!!!

Canadians want it now!!!!

Please email the CRTC and let them know. If you don't comment they won't act!

The CRTC is a sham

ABOLISH IT

We are not living in Stalin-Era Soviet Russia

The Government HAS NO RIGHT to censor media

Time to end this Stalinist organization, and its liberal, left wing, communist supporters, socialism DOES NOT WORK !!!!!!!

Go to Poland or the Ukraine, and you will see what communism does, ruins EVERYTHING !!!!!!

The CRTC provides a very good service it ensured Canadian Talent was prominent
in entertainment and today we developed an industry second to none. I was a radio
broadcaster at the time Can Con started and at first didn't like it but in time I have to
admit they were right. The CRTC is not supposed to be nutual it supposed to stand
up for Canadian interests and does a good job. Only those who do not understand
how things work or have no appreciation for good informative programs would say
other wise.
