Does any one have any inside information of when rogers plans to unleash their Push To Talk service........it would be very nice to have .....

Not yet, maybe november - december.

And let me tell you, do not have good expectation.

Do you not think that the service will be usable?, I look at it for only keeping in touch with family mainly..........

do not expect something close to Mike.

The quality will be somewhat similar to what Bell has right now 10-4. It will have some delay.

other than mike, PTT isnt feasible, there is a 6-10 second delay for each message sent over ptt and the limited handsets mean that family members dotn have much choice. Also the rates are kidna crappy in comparison to Mike, Telus PCS PTT u have to get a regular plan plus $20/month making it a very expensive wireless solution. its $10 if each individual is on a plan greater than 40$ a month
