question concerning prepaid service

I've heard that fido prepaid has no international roaming, does it mean that if i go to the States, i won't be able to use my phone there? but what if i go to another city in Canada, to Toronto for instance, will my phone still work?

I'm not sure about Fido, but I work for Rogers, I assume they work in a simliar way.

For Rogers, prepaid services are limited within Canada. That's mean prepaid won't work outside of Canada.

Yes, you can travel with your prepaid in Canada, long distance charge may apply.
