It will give you information and access to change some settings on your phone, ie: NAM 1 will bring you in to change emergency phone number etc.

I did try it on my Nokia 6185 also, but I know some codes work on some nokias and some dont.. But I know the Rogers AT&T 5165 has more options in it's system menu than the 5190, probably because of the GSM Technology and Fido's lack of experience and general knowledge of their own technology
