The small but wealthy hamlet of Rothesay just turned down WalMart's application to build alarge store in the area. I was surprised by the application as that area has always been for the elite[Private Schools,etc] & they wouldn't even allow a senior's complex last year. This seems to be the trend lately,tho-no community seems to want a WalMart! Could this have something to do with the closure of that Qurbec store that has just unionized?
