No shocker there. Several years ago the cereal makers were getting grief over the sugar content in their cereals and were forced to reduce it. They claimed to have reduced it but tests later on showed they had not reduced it at all. So then the cereal makers decided to play semantics. They claimed they reduced the sugar per serving by half. But all they did was reduce the suggested serving size by 50%. So now, half a bowl of cereal is considered to be a serving and voila, it now has half the sugar a suggested serving of cereal used to have without removing any sugar.
