The Finkelstein Dershowitz debate

If you like a good intellectual debate, which gets down and nasty, you can't beat this "Democracy Now!" debate between two renowned academics, Alan Dershowitz and Norman Finkelstein. The result was about as equal as a Bruce Lee fight:

Seems Dershowitz took his public flogging by Finkelstein personally and used his influence to block Finkelstein from getting tenure at DePaul University.

As we all know, a good offense is the best defense. Since Israeli apologists can't defend Israeli war crimes, like Dershowitz they change the subject of the debate and attack the credibility of Israel's critics.

But Dershowitz doesn't just block qualified academics from getting tenure, he also called Goldstone evil, a traitor (moser)deserving death for writing a report documenting Israeli war crimes and crimes against humanity:

Dershowitz isn't an idiot. He just behaves like one and is frequently cited by Israeli apologists here on this forum in support of the right of the Israeli military to kill innocent women, children and babies.

In fact all persons and organizations critical of Israeli war crimes and crimes against humanity are now the subject of a massive smear and discredit campaign. Goober's recent thread attacking AI's credibility is part of this campaign to attack messengers, rather than criminals.

Alan Dershowitz discredited himself a long time ago with his defence of torture.

As for this piece, I couldn't watch it............it was billed as an intellectual debate, and then edited with idiotic kung fu scenes that lowered it to the level of a Sesame Street skit....only meaner.

As for Israel, 22 days of retaliation from attacks....from one of the most advanced militaries on earth, against the most densely populated area on earth.....1400 dead, a large part of them militants.

Accusations of war crimes are idiotic.

The first two clips are supposed to be humor. I thought it was funny. Regarding the merits of accusations of war crimes, that's another subject.

They butchered defenseless women and children and enjoyed it, accusations of war crimes are generous.
