Some people believe that politics is just a game - and now it is ... a computer game.

Following in the footsteps of such virtual-reality heroes as Lara Croft and the Super Mario Brothers come Gordon Brown, Tony Blair, David Cameron, Alistair Darling and Des Browne.

All five - accompanied, bizarrely, by two characters meant to resemble Keira Knightley and Paris Hilton - appear in SeriousPolicy, a new game intended to make politics more interesting to young people.

Virtual heroes: the game's Keira Knightley, Paris Hilton, Des Browne (Defence Secretary), Tony Blair (Former PM now Middle East Peace Envoy), Gordon Brown (Prime Minister), Alistair Darling (Chancellor of the Exchequer) and David Cameron (Leader of the Opposition)

In one sequence Ms Knightley, star of Pirates Of The Caribbean and Atonement, is seen welcoming Mr Browne to Downing Street as he seeks Treasury approval for a multi-millionpound fighter plane for the RAF.

The Defence Secretary strides into Mr Darling's office, declaring: "Let's get straight to work. There's a new generation of jets available that could enhance our peace-keeping missions."

High stakes: Des Browne, Alistair Darling and Paris Hilton consider a new fighter plane for the RAF

Players are then presented with options, including asking the Prime Minister to rule on whether the project should go ahead or be "put out to public consultation".

SeriousPolicy, the latest offering from PlayGen, which claims to deliver "cost-effective training simulations to government, the military and corporate organisations", is free to download from the website www.seriouspolicy.com.

At No 10: Paris and the Prime Minister Gordon Brown

Creator Kam Memarzia said: "The idea is to get teenagers involved in the political process by presenting political ideas to them in a medium with which they feel confident and at home.

"We are hoping to open up new ways in which young people can see the world and understand how decisions affecting their lives are taken.

"We included David Cameron to show we're not taking sides. This is about getting one's voice heard - not party politics.

"Perhaps we should have put in some Liberal Democrats. Maybe next time."

Paris' butt is too big. As is her brainless head.

Other than that, I love the concept and I'm sure Paris will meltdown when she sees her ass in those white pants. That is almost worth supporting the cost of purchasing the game right there.
