IAEA finds no evidence of an Iranian Nuclear Weapon program

Despite propaganda to the contrary, the IAEA has found no evidence that Iran has violated the NPT or has a nuclear weapons program.

According to a report the IAEA released today, they have been allowed to interview Iranians, inspect and monitor Iran's nuclear facilities. They have been given documentation which backs up Iran's claims about their peaceful nuclear program and corresponds with their observations and investigations.

While the IAEA has not been able to prove Iran does not have a cladestine nuclear weapons program, they have also found no evidence which indicates that Iran might even have a nuclear weapons program.

Meanwhile, China has pulled out of meetings to impose sanctions on Iran until Iran is able to prove a negative.

It'd be swell if the United States cited the "urgent necessity" (yet again) of opening armed hostilities with Iran on the basis of more fabricated evidence and exaggerations...

The world would support Putin and the Chinese in protecting their investments in Iran and the first wave of yankee murderers might find themselves looking at a different scenario than the devastation wrought...sorrry that should read..."Shock and Awe" of American military prowess against a crippled economy and a radicalized population....

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran welcomed a U.S. report on Tuesday contradicting assertions by the Bush administration that Tehran was intent on building an atomic bomb, and the Islamic Republic said it was becoming clear its plans were peaceful.

The U.S. National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) released on Monday said Iran had halted its nuclear weapons program in 2003. Tehran says it has never had plans to build atomic bombs and only wants to generate electricity...

Alaeddin Boroujerdi, a senior Iranian deputy, said Monday's NIE showed Washington was having to change tack because it could no longer justify charges that Tehran wanted a bomb. He told state TV it would strengthen those opposed to more sanctions.
"This report will be another factor in line with strengthening the positions of these countries (Russia and China) and weakening the positions of the group who were pursuing... the issue of the third resolution," he said.
"I believe that from the beginning American intelligence organizations knew Iran did not have deviations (from peaceful atomic aims)," said Boroujerdi, head of parliament's foreign policy and national security committee...

From what little I saw, the other networks in the controlled right wing media did not give this issue much coverage. But the word is out and Bush has been hammered because of this truth.

Kindasleeza Rice says trusting Iran would be a ''big mistake'' despite these truthful revelations.

Evidently, Bush's coalition of the dwindling doesn't trust so much anymore and it continues to get smaller and smaller.

Perhaps it is the fact that the world no longer believes in or backs up Bush that has caused the government to reveals these truths about Iran's non existing WMD.
