"World Social Forum: A Loud, Multicolored 'No' to Imperialism and War"
This is a response to the World Economic Forum being held in Switzerland.
It is battle of Two Conferances - the Elite Wealthy VS the masses and masses of poorer people. Wealth Equality has continued to slide away from the realm of possibility, with the corporate side taking 80% of the wealth and putting it in the hands of just 5% of the world's people.
Same old same old - extreme opulence for a few, starvation and illness and povery for the great mass of humanity - how can the world be at peace when this inequality exists?
This forum - the Social one - will point the way to non-violent change.
---------------------
nicnamed the "Whirled Social Forum" because of the chaos amidst so many gathered there. Funny.
Cindy Sheehan is visiting, Chavez and other recently elected socialists from southern nations are all hugging and chanting about a new world.
Steering us away from the wretched and dangerous course we are on now, this forum offers the world some new hope. The only hope actually... the only one being offered at least.
They have a plan, a course of action and a mindset that will bring equality and reign in the abuses of corporate American-style economics.
