Knowing the source of this piece makes it all the more disturbing. It is not every day that the editor of a respected national magazine publishes an essay claiming that America is not on the road to becoming, but ALREADY IS, a fascist state.... or words to that affect.

Oh DEAR! It boggles. The future might be asking: How did the US population allow this to happen??? When did they lose control over their own country??? and it's leadership?? How did they become so complicit in this evolution??

It REALLY does seem to be spinning out of control .What is concerning is that the more they lose control.........the more they are going to try to maintain control......and therefore impliment more controlling measures. this has the earmarks of that kind of self destructive process.

Kinda concerning to hear bush call those important /serious issues arising now ( indictments etc) "background noise".....which he apparently does not listen to.

What kind of a leader would ignore such major issues ???
