The Bush administration is "significantly" lowering expectations about what it can achieve in Iraq, finally admitting that its prewar plans were "unrealistic," the Washington Post reported on Sunday.

The United States no longer expects to see a model new democracy, a self-supporting oil industry, or a society in which the majority of people are free from serious security or economic challenges, US officials say.

Surprise!!

But it's a good bet that Bush  will continue his war for now. His big time financial allies pull his puppet strings and they do not WANT to forgo profits. Don't be surprised if he orchestrates another "terrorist" attack in order to justify further occupation of Iraq or extension of his war crimes elsewhere.

IMPEACH WAR CRIMINAL BUSH!!!

Well what did we expect? Canada knew it was a bad idea in the first place, but its nothing to gloat about.

Nearly 2,000 US soldiers, 25,000+ Iraqis, and untold numbers of foreign soldiers and workers are dead for what. For "uh.... we didnt know what we were getting into and it doesn't look like its going to work out too well. We tried our best." Its really sad to see that the Bush administration's goal is too get a major withdrawl from Iraq before the midterm elections. What a waste, this is what you call one big Cluster F@#%.
