I felt that I needed to post these pics that my mother sent me for a couple of reasons: first to show that in all of the hateful acts that we've seen, there are still those who act out of kindness and compassion. secondly, I wanted to give faces to the stats that we're given of all of the people that may neve have the chance to come home
Finally, I got the pics. The first is a group of soldiers partaking in a circle of prayer:

We all know how good it feels to get mail from someone we care about, even more so from family we haven't been able to hold in over a year:
Life is a precious thing, and that includes animals too
This little one was lost, and desperately needed some comfort, I'm so happy to see that she found it:
