Ode to a fallen nation
Whatever happened to the great nation we once were?

A bright beacon shinning thru the darkness.

A country that gave hope to all nations.

Whatever happened to freedom?

A word that rang out like a great bell.

A word that was paid for with the blood of fallen hero’s who fought to give us something that no other nation had

Whatever happened to a government for the people by the people that did the will of the people?

Whatever happened to the people who fought for the family instead of fighting against them?

That invited their neighbors to a Saturday cookout instead of putting up a fence to keep them away

We’ve become a nation of the weak minded ruled by the corporate media that tells us how to live our daily lives and what to believe

A picture tube and circuits has become our god ruling from heaven via a satellite in its celestial orbit, with funding from the pharmaceutical companies, they tell us what products to buy and what drugs to take to make us better people.

And like lost sheep we beckon to their every word.

Have we become so dumbed down mentally that we can’t see our life and liberty being swiped like a credit card at the cash register?

Or is it that we just don’t care anymore, like a miser our possessions are all we need to sustain us.

How long will we go on allowing the ones who were once sworn to “protect and serve” to abuse the public and serve their egos, wearing uniforms and armor of black like a futuristic army of storm troopers from the leader who gave us the holocaust.

Like bugs in a zapper we’ve become, the crackling taser their weapon of choice subdues us into submission and the weak hearted die from its sting.

“We the people” have become “We the slaves” under a false left-right paradigm we vote tyrannical leaders into power, whose sole purpose is to enslave us and to elevate their dreams of deity.

Its time to wake up America, wash the scales that have covered your eyes for so long.

Look what is happening to this great land we live in, turn off the all Seeing Eye in the living room, it’s time to take control back of this country from the madmen who control it so our children can truly be “Free”.

Like a modern day Paul Revere I cry out “wake up, wake up!” the police state is coming!

America was never what it thought it was, and is not now what it thinks it is.

With knowledge comes the pain of the serpent.

We've bitten the forbidden apple from the tree of knowlege.

And we are now fighting in Babylon, and our tower has come too high and suddenly as in that story we will no longer understand each other's words.

The Tower of Babylon, a symbol of the pretension of science, a symbol of the pretensions of a nation, and ultimately the story of the ego and its subsequent humbling.
