situation status: from unstable to getting volatile. Now, there are TWO US created hotspots on this planet. Bt then the entire "terrorist" issue has been mismanaged, mishandled from the onset. "getting them over there before they attack us here " is a very weak, and incompetant strategy. The USG blew it when it decided on a unilateral approach.. It had the support of the world post 9-11 and all it had to do......is work out an international agreement /strategy and deal with it collectively. But the cowboys like to ride alone. as it stands, the US has very little support on this planet. (and even less sympathy)

When 18 Americans were killed in a helicopter in Africa, the right wingers had a field day criticizing Clinton. And they did it for many years.

In this current campaign of Bush ineptitude and imperialism, take note how none of those same reich wingers speak out against him.
