To wash, or not to wash... that is the question.
In North America, standard practice (and law in the US, I'm not sure about Canada), is to give eggs a sterilizing wash before they are packaged and put into refrigerators to be shipped to the consumer.
In the EU, the opposite takes place. No washing. And no refrigerator either apparently.
This one struck me as a truly odd little bit of confusion, and made me think...
Can Canadian Content convince me of which one is right?
