It won't happen here. Canadians are too lazy and if someone does get off their computer to protest, all the couch potatoes scream bloody murder. Can't upset the status quo, now can we. Decadence is its own reward.

What is there to protest? The best lifestyle on the planet?
Like Barazilians, corruption in every level of government, corporate greed, being swindled by the big banks, deteriorating medical care, lowering of educational standards, gutting of scientific and environmental standards, to name a few.

If you look through the pictures in the OP you will see that both Turks and Brazilians are marching in solidarity with each other. There were protests in many North American cities in support of Brazil, including Vancouver.
