Yeah, well, Galbraith, and others, seem to like comparing apples to dump trucks. Communism is a societal system where capitalism is a monetary system, they're not even close to being in the same category. China, fairly recently, has somehow figured out how to merge both systems into one that can both feed their people as well as the totalitarian regime.

list. China is not really a Communist State anyway it has become a Fascist State.

There really is no such thing as a right wing dictatorship; the further right you go, the less involvement of government, to the point of anarchy. All totalitarian states are actually left wing. The jury is out as to who propagated the big lie that Hitler was Right and Stalin was Left, but it was only to try to distance one tyranny from the other, and the useful idiots bought it, whichever side they were on or whichever tyrant they loved, and used it to their advantage. But it is still a lie. Dictatorships, which are or will become, by nature, tyrannies, are all Left wing.

It may be an old Chinese proverb, I don't know, but it has been repeated in several forms, most notably by Lenin, Hitler, Goebels, but the Russian version sounds best when spoken, almost poetic, (in Russian of course, not English);

Before the war started corporations and business were very free to do as they wished in Germany. there wasnt much government interference on that level aside from the racist laws determining who could or could not work in one position or another. That took a few years to go through. The race laws initially only applied to the government and civil service. Plus there is the insane hyper-nationalism which is usually found on the right. They government also decentralized a fair bit allowing different regions in Germany and the later occupied territories to be ruled directly ruled by different governors. There are both left and right wing forms of totalitarianism. If there arent, I deserve a considerably large refund on my tuition.


As for Maos granddaughter, simply being related to him doesnt make her a communist. If she is one she is a hypocrite, like most communists.

I would say you deserve a refund, but then again, universities no longer teach you to think for yourself, (if they ever did), but rather indoctrinate you into the orthodoxy, which is governed by the zeitgeist. You want to see a real corruption of mind, go to law school. At least you will probably get your money back 10 fold, but only after you give up your soul.

Governments, any governments, by their very nature, are created by hierarchies. Whether the ruling elite call the government they form democracy or communist or whatever, They still maintain control while letting the great unwashed think they have a say in the matter. Great PR and much BS and the suckers line up to be fleeced or sent off to murder other suckers in wars. Democracy, communism and socialism are all just experiments to see which ones work best in what regions to convince the suckers to play the game that is stacked against them. Look how many people believe we live in a democracy when nothing could be farther from the truth.

Communism is almost as hypocritical as Free Market Capitalism.. in its pretensions of being motivated by the common good, and in the selfless aspirations of it proponents. Just as most industrialist families go from riches to rags in 3 generations.. so champions of workers go to sweat shop owners and slum lords in the same period.
