That was scary. Not one of those drivers gave the pedestrian more than an inch or two. How many helmets did you see on the motorcyclists? I wonder how many people are killed every day in India?

270 people die each day in India.......And get this, Seatbelt laws would make little difference because less than 5 percent of these people drive.

Canada has 8.5 traffic fatalities per day. The U.S. has 117 traffic fatalities per day. It sounds like India might be doing better on a per capita basis.
