to live in nova scotia ..cheap house to be rented

hey every my name sean im thinking of moving to noa scotia for a stay about six months..
i got a tight buget and was hopeing to be able to rent a two bedroom flat or house in or nova scotia.
i love nova scotia ..
every time i see a native u would think they were irish..very alike

i got friends also in boston that i would like to visit once in a while and have visitors..

i would be looking for a nice location near montreal but not far from the border..
and any forum users know of a nice location to live but not to expensive.
2 bdroom house for around $650 or around that number..

Wife and I thinking of retiring there.

What's a hobby farm of 4-5 acres,one house circa,1920-1960,maybe one outbuilding, electricity,septic field ,drilled well in Annapolis valley worth. Ballpark. If you know the same on Cape Breton?

When we moved to Nova Scotia in 1987, my parents bought a hobby farm, it had 20 acres or so, most of it was wooded. The house came with a barn and two other buildings, and it cost around 60,000-70,000. I don't know what a place like that would go for now, or how different the prices would be in the valley.
