Make mine a small one
What is claimed to be the world’s smallest pub has opened at Cleethorpes, in Lincolnshire. The Signal Box Inn is 8ft (2.4m) by 8ft and can fit four people sitting and two standing. It is housed in a century-old signal box on the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway. Andrew McCall, 35, the landlord, has applied to Guinness World Records, which lists a bar in Colorado Springs as the smallest. He predicts plenty of custom, as 98,000 passengers pass through the station every year.
